Balance Trainer Privacy Policy

Drawdown Brands LLC operates Balance Trainer: Stop Falls, referred to as Balance or the Service. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you. Balance is a free educational exercise library. You can use every exercise, video and local feature without an account.

Information Collection and Use

We use information to provide optional account access, deliver videos when you request them, respond to support requests, and protect the Service. We do not collect diagnoses, medical records, symptom ratings, or health sensor data. The app does not connect to Apple Health or Health Connect.

Personal Data

If you choose to sign in, Google Firebase Authentication processes your email address, account identifier and authentication credentials or tokens. Google or Apple may also supply a name or profile image URL. Apple may provide a private relay address. Firebase handles email passwords; Balance does not receive your Google or Apple password. Authentication also involves technical information such as IP addresses, app identifiers, device platform details and security logs.

Local Practice Data

Saved exercise identifiers, recently opened resource identifiers, self-reported practice dates and safety checklist choices stay on your device. They are not uploaded to Firebase and do not sync with your account. The app does not interpret these records as a health assessment or proof of improvement. Device backup services may include local data according to your device settings.

Video Playback and Usage Data

The app loads YouTube only when you choose to load a video. YouTube and Google may process your IP address, approximate location inferred from that address, device and browser information, identifiers, playback interactions, advertising information and diagnostics. They may use cookies or similar technologies for service delivery, security, advertising and measurement under their own policies.

Balance uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player. YouTube states that views in this mode do not personalize your YouTube browsing experience or advertising outside the app, and that ads served in this mode are non-personalized. This does not mean that no data is processed. We do not send your Firebase account details or local practice records to the player. Written guides and local tools remain available without video playback.

Use of Data

Account information supports sign-in, password recovery and account security. Information you send to our support address is used to respond to your request. Local records help you return to resources and review your own practice. We do not sell personal information, operate a separate advertising network, or include our own analytics or advertising SDK in this version. Embedded YouTube videos may show ads.

Transfer of Data

Our service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Provider transfer arrangements and applicable legal protections govern those transfers. We use HTTPS for service connections and limit data processing to the functions described in this policy.

Disclosure of Data

Firebase processes account information for us. Google, Apple and YouTube process information when you use their services, subject to their policies. We may disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights and the safety of users. We do not share your local exercise history with advertisers.

Security and Retention

We use Firebase authentication controls and encrypted service connections. No system can guarantee absolute security. Your authentication account remains until you delete it or request deletion. Local records remain until you clear them or remove the app's data, subject to device backups. Providers may retain limited records for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations under their retention policies. Information already processed by YouTube, Google or Apple remains subject to their account controls and policies.

Service Providers

Google Firebase and Google Sign-In provide optional account authentication. YouTube provides requested embedded videos and associated processing. Sign in with Apple is subject to Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Links to Other Sites

Opening a source, support email, or external video takes you to another service. Its privacy practices apply there. Balance does not control those services or claim a partnership with the authors of linked exercise resources.

Your Data Rights and Account Deletion

To delete your Balance account, open Your account in the app, sign in, and choose Delete my account. Confirm your identity when requested. This deletes your Balance authentication account and clears local Balance records on that device. It does not delete your Google or Apple account, records on other devices, or information processed by YouTube. You can clear local data without an account through About and your data, then Clear my local data.

To request account deletion outside the app, email matthewhornenegro@gmail.com with the subject Balance account deletion and your sign-in email. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Do not send a password. You can also contact us about access, correction, deletion or other rights available under your local law. Where applicable, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children and Changes to This Policy

Balance is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied account information. We will update this policy when our practices change, revise the effective date, and provide an in-app notice for material changes where required.
